Crafts for Sunday School

Ik heb nog wat werkjes gemaakt voor onze zondagsschool. Het leek me wel handig om ze allemaal overzichtelijk bij elkaar te hebben. Zodat ze makkelijker terug te vinden zijn. Ik heb er daarom een speciale pagina voor gemaakt hier op mijn blog: Free crafts for Sunday school

Op dit moment vertellen we op onze zondagsschool het verhaal van Samuël. De werkjes sluiten dus ook aan bij dat verhaal. Het is mijn bedoeling de pagina langzaamaan te vullen met werkjes van verschillende verhalen.

Right now we are sharing the story of Samuel at our Sunday school. The crafts I have made so far go along with that story. I am planning on filling my page slowly with crafts for different stories.

De werkjes zijn te downloaden als pdf-bestand, ze kunnen geprint worden op gewoon wit printpapier. Ze zijn beschikbaar in het Nederlands, Engels en Spaans. De Nederlandse werkjes zijn op a4 formaat, de Engelse en Spaanse werkjes op 'letter' formaat. Let er bij het afdrukken even op dat je het document schaalt zodat het op de pagina past.

The crafts can be downloaded as pdf files, they can be printed on regular white print paper. They are available in Dutch, English and Spanish. The English and Spanish crafts are letter size, the Dutch crafts a4 size. When you print make sure that you scale the document to fit the page.

Ik heb dit soort werkjes nog niet eerder gemaakt. Dus ik zou het erg leuk vinden om te horen wat jullie (of de kinderen van jullie zondagsschool) er van vinden! Eventuele tips zijn ook van harte welkom. =)

Flowers

Dit schattige tasje heb ik dit weekend gemaakt. Ik heb er nog wat extra bloemetjes bij gedaan, zodat het allemaal nog wat fleuriger werd. Het patroontje van het tasje heb ik zelf ontworpen en is te koop via: 7amitha.etsy.com

This weekend I made this cute purse. I added a few extra flowers, to make it even more flowery. The pattern of the purse is my own design and can be purchased at: 7amitha.etsy.com

De extra bloemetjes zijn simpel te maken.

Bloemetje met 4 blaadjes:
1. Verstelbare ring met 6 v
2. 2 v in elke steek
3. (1 hv - 1 hst, 3 stk, 1 hst in één steek - 1 hv) 4x

Bloemetje met 5 blaadjes:
1. Verstelbare ring met 7 v
2. 2 v in elke steek
3. (1 hv - 1 hst, 3 stk, 1 hst in één steek - 1 hv) 5x


The extra flowers are easy to make.

Flower with 4 petals:
1. Adjustable ring with 6 sc
2. 2 sc in every stitch
3. (1 sl st - 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc in one stitch - 1 sl st) 4x

Flower with 5 petals:
1. Adjustable ring with 7 sc
2. 2 sc in every stitch
3. (1 sl st - 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc in one stitch - 1 sl st) 5x

Simson en de leeuw

De komende weken vertellen we op de zondagsschool het verhaal van Simson. Ik was op internet aan het zoeken naar een werkje voor bij het verhaal in Richteren 14. Ik vond een leeuw op de website Krokotak. Ik moest hem alleen wel wat aanpassen, want de originele leeuw was wat te vriendelijk. ;)

These coming weeks we'll be telling the story of Samson in Sunday school. I was searching the internet for a craft to go along with the story in Judges 14. I found a lion on the Krokotak website. I only had to change it a little bit, because the original lion was too friendly. ;)

Van Simson zelf kon ik niet echt een leuk werkje vinden, dus heb ik daar zelf wat van gemaakt. Misschien zijn hier meer zondagsschoolleidsters / juffen die op zoek zijn naar werkjes? Ik heb het Spaanse werkje vertaald naar het Nederlands en Engels. Hieronder de links naar de gratis printversies. I couldn't really find a nice craft of Samson himself, so I made my own. Maybe there are more Sunday school teachers here who are looking for crafts? Nog een laatste tip: Tijdens het vertellen van het verhaal laten we vaak wat plaatjes zien, om de aandacht van de kinderen vast te houden.
